Edoras

“A dike and mighty wall and thorny fence encircle it. Within there rise the roofs of houses; and in the midst, set upon a green terrace, there stands aloft a great hall of Men. And it seems to my eyes that it is thatched with gold.” - Legolas, The Two Towers

All of the buildings are fully removable, including the gatehouse and towers, and the buildings themselves have removable roofs to facilitate play inside. The board is constructed in three 2x4 sections which can be swapped around to change up the board’s layout, positioning the gatehouse on the centre of off to the side.

There are removable sections in the walls themselves that can be blown open by invaders, and the gate is fully functioning featuring a crossbar that locks it shut when closed.

The creation of this board was logged in a three part video series over on our channel, check it out here.

Buckleberry Ferry

“The white bollards near the water’s edge glimmered in the light. Behind them the mists in the flat fields were now above the hedges; but the water before them was dark, with only a few curling wisps like steam among the reeds by the bank.” - Tolkien, Fellowship of the Ring

Here we see Frodo and the brave hobbits fleeing before the wrath of the Ringwraiths, winding their way up a sloping riverbank to leap onto the Ferry. The river is acrylic tinted epoxy resin over a fully detailed riverbed replete with stones, shrubs and reeds. The piece is 2 feet wide and joins a modular river section on either side.

This piece was absolute joy to make and blends perfectly with any gaming surface.

Pelennor Fields

“It is before the walls of Minas Tirith that the doom of our time will be decided.” - Theoden, Return of the King

Measuring a whopping eight feet long and six feet wide and littered with the carrion of war, this gaming board truly captures the utter desolation of the battle of the Pelennor Fields.

Upon its eastern edge the Rammas Echor, Minas Tirith’s outer ringwall is battered and broken, and within it’s bounds lie the corpses of many brave Rohirrim, vile orcs and even the great hides of three slain mumakil.

Complete with marshlands, a pillaged homestead, orcs camps, LED fire pits that give off light and REAL smoke, this board is as immersive as it is breathtaking.

As with all our boards, we place a high value on modularity. This board breaks down into one 4x4 and two 2x4 sections, allowing for the formation of many different 4x4 and 6x4 gaming boards to allow you to use it for a myriad of different scenarios and formats.

The creation of this board was logged in a five part video series over on our channel, check it out here:

Osgiliath_3.jpg

Osgiliath

“This city was once the jewel of our kingdom! A place of light, and beauty, and music. And so it shall be once more! ” - Boromir, The Two Towers

Measuring a staggering 10x10 feet, Osgiliath is the largest single gaming surface Lachie has sculpted to date. Every single brick was hand carved from foam core-board with a scalpel, every single tiny detail etched with painstaking precision. Spanning a single river bank and the island supporting the Citadel of Stars, the board is perfect for representing the great war of attrition between the forces of Gondor and Mordor on an epic scale.

But as always the board is highly modular with the entire riverbank section made from small 1ft panels that can be arranged in any fashion.

A true one of a kind build.
